Registration is Open for Free STEM Summer Camp!

Residential 2-week camp session for students: June 18 - June 30, 2023

The Iowa National Summer Transportation Institute (NSTI) is a free summer camp open statewide to students of color, young women, and youth with and without disabilities who will be in 7th, 8th, or 9th grade during the 2023-24 school year. This summer's 2-week residential session will be held in Iowa City. Campers will stay in University of Iowa dormitories.Iowa NSTI 2023 summer camp flyer

Iowa NSTI focuses on STEM education, careers in the transportation industry, leadership, college readiness, and more. Campers participate in hands-on activities, university lab tours, local and statewide field trips, and other campus activities.

Iowa NSTI is hosted by the Center for Disabilities and Development, Iowa’s UCEDD. It is offered in collaboration with the Civil Rights Bureau of the Iowa Department of Transportation and funded through the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration.
